ABOUT JANET.....
Much like the computer in the movie Eagle Eye, nothing gets past Portola Station's Church Secretary, Janet Pearson. Known to many as the "receipt Nazi", she not only keeps the office and pastors organized, but is also dedicated to holding the church finances in line. Since 2000, Janet has become a crucial part of the staff providing requested information, encouraging words, and always a sweet smile.
Janet simply calls herself "Girl Friday" at the office. Most often you will find her in front of the computer or on the phone, but she certainly wears many other hats. On any given day, you might catch her with a paint brush in her hand or practicing music, cleaning a closet (because "clutter is on her "dislike list), or organizing something (because "chaos" is also on her "dislike" list).
Janet and Steve have been married for over 30 years and have two grown children, Andrea and Brett, along with one grandson Deacon. Growing up in northern California, Janet has always been a "small town" girl, graduating with a senior class of 28 students. Today, she loves outdoor activities including: riding her bike, hiking, working in the yard, quad trips, and camping with Steve. Other yearly highlights for Janet are going to Women of Faith, and riding her bike in the Agony Ride to raise money for Christian Encounter Ministries. The empty nest at the Pearson home is filled with dogs, Mick and Rocky, along with Jerry the cat and of course lots of love!
